Radiant heating systems generally require less maintenance than forced-air systems. This is primarily due to having fewer moving parts and a closed-loop system that doesn’t pick up dust and debris from the room. With a radiant heating system people are typically comfortable with a 68°F thermostat setpoint as compared to a forced-air heating system set to 72°F.
